Mixing Prints

Hey Peeps,
I decided to try the mixing prints trend. I did get a stare or two in church but I guess people are used to me dressing that way now. lol! I made the pants out of ankara fabric a while ago, I was inspired by a pair of pants my cousin http://www.skinnyhipster.com/ wore. Enjoy!

The Circus!!!

Hi Peeps,
The weather has been quite cold in LA, so I have had to bring out my jackets. I went to a thrift store on Saturday and I bought some jackets and sweaters. I would be showing you my finds in subsequent posts. My friend Chineze was kind enough to buy this hat for me at the store because I loved it so much and she decided to gift it to me.Yay! Thanks babes! I wore it the next day to church with a tribal print Jacket I made. The outfit reminded me of the circus the only thing missing was my wand. Lol! Enjoy!!!

I made this puffy skirt a while ago but I have not really worn it, I decided to bring out from my closet to see a little sunshine.
I have been following the news about what is happening in Nigeria closely and I must say that we Nigerians took a stand together which is really impressive, we might not have the desirable results now but this is a good first step in the right direction. Happy Martin Luther King Jr. day peeps.

COLORS AND PRINTS

Am sure you guys can tell from the few pictures on my blog that I love prints, patterns and colors. Well! this is just another proof of that fact. I had a night out with friends in Santa Monica and just took a few pictures. Making this dress was a bit annoying because I first had to sew up all the fabric pieces together before I could cut out the dress. The result was worth the stress. Lemme know what you guys think. Do you like colors and prints or do you lean more towards neutrals and muted palettes.

BLACK AND PEARLS

Hey lovies!
I just got these tribal wedges! I had to wear them I paired them with a black dress I made that was inspired by one of my friend's dresses.
