Cropping It

Hi People,

As you all know I just opened up a shop on Etsy where I shall be selling some of the things I make. The pictures I took in the previous post were kinda blurry and they did not do the crop tops justice. So I shall try to put some posts up of me in my Valerie Black crop tops and how they can be worn.
This crop top featured in this post is one of my favourites because it is so simple. I paired it with Harem pants and a DIY bib necklace I made, trust me! the  necklace is super easy to make.
You just have to get felt, a hot glue gun, beads and the ribbon of your choice. glue the beads to the felt and Viola! you have your pearl bib necklace. I also made the earrings out of buttons. :)

Crop tops here!

After waiting forever for the mannequins to arrive, they finally did, and I took pictures showing the tops I made for sale but the mannequins don't do the tops justice, so I might have to model them myself. Sigh! I am wearing one of the tops from my collection that would be on sale on Esty shortly. Let me know what you guys think.

Happy Mother's day

I just want to say Happy Mother's day to all the mothers out there. The ones that have the support of their husbands, the strong women who are doing it all alone, the potential mothers, the grand mothers and the great grand mothers. I hope I covered everybody?! lol!

I have been a way for a while because I have been working on a little collection of tops that would be available shortly for sale on Etsy. I would also put up a post about it here for your viewing pleasure.

I just have about two pictures of what I wore to church today. The jacket was a little to big so I sewed elastic on the back to give it more fit. I also glued African fabric on a an old pair of shoes and Viola! New ones. lol! The earrings were also buttons. There are a lot of things you can do to tweak your wardrobe the way you like without breaking the bank. Hope you like? Enjoy!   .

How's your week going? I decided to take pictures after service on Sunday, after posing for a while, I decided to take a look at the pictures and I discovered they were all blurry. I am finally done with FIDM! Yay! These past few weeks have been crazy for me, moving out of the school accommodation and trying to get my place. I have a place now and now I can focus on getting a job. If you know anyone looking to hire a creative person like me who can sew and design and also do tech packs, Look no further!!! Here she is!

Bright and Sunny

Hey peeps,

This past week has been crazy, trying to juggle my last week of school, looking for an apartment, interning and looking for a full time job has not been easy but by the end of this week I should have the school and apartment part covered. God help me!
The outfit of the week was a very simple one, I wanted something easy so I donned on this shift dress from H&M and a light sweater to go with it. I wanted to add a piece of Valerie Black so I wore my handmade ankara bib necklace to add something to the ensemble. Enjoy!
